Frankfurt is growing rapidly. There is a high competitive demand for open spaces – and only very few have been dedicated to urban wilderness projects. Our initiative is focussed on communicating the intrinsic values of these precious urban islands of natural succession. Through our educational program with presentations and workshops we aim at providing sustained interest and appreciation for Frankfurt's urban wilderness projects. Detailed photodocumentation of all stages and aspects of development of the individual locations will offer valuable insights for research and future projects.
